Daniel 2:1 - Now in the second year of Nebuchadnezzar's reign, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams; and his spirit was so troubled that his sleep left him.
Daniel 2:31 - You, O king, were watching; and behold, a great image! This great image, whose splendor was excellent, stood before you; and its form was awesome.
Daniel 2:32-33 - This image's head was of fine gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay.
Daniel 2:34 - You watched while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces.
Daniel 2:35 - Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. Daniel 7:6 - After this I looked, and there was another, like a leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird. The beast also had four heads, and dominion was given to it.
Daniel 7:7 - After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns.
Daniel 7:23 - Thus he said: The fourth beast shall be a fourth kingdom on earth.

Identifying Characteristics of the Little Horn Antichrist

Antichrist is characterized as a Little Horn.
In Bible prophecy, a horn refers to a King or Kingdom (Daniel 7:24; 8:5,21,22).
Daniel 7:24 - The ten horns are ten kings who shall arise from this kingdom.
Daniel 8:21 - The large horn that is between its eyes is the first king.
We have to look for a small kingdom to identify the Antichrist.
Vatican City is the Smallest Country in the World.

The 10 horns in Daniel 7:7 or the 10 toes in Daniel 2:41 represent 10 kingdoms in Western Roman Empire.
We have to locate the little horn or the little kingdom in Western Europe (Roman Empire).
Vatican City is located in Western Europe, in the heart of Rome.

Three kingdoms were destroyed by the Roman Catholic Church, because those kingdoms wouldn't bow down to the authority of Popes.
The Papacy subdued and destroyed three out of the ten kingdoms, Heruli, Ostrogoths & Vandals.

The Papacy is different from the rest of the Kingdoms as it is a combination of Church & State.
The Pope is a King and a Spiritual Head. It is a Religio-political system.
The Papacy is diverse/different from the 10 horns.
Daniel 7:8 - ...And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words.
The Papacy has one man, the Pope, as its head speaking on behalf of the Catholic Church.
The pope calls himself Episcopus Episcoporum, the Overseer of Overseers, Bishop of Bishops, Father of Fathers.

The Catholic Church persecuted the saints, killing millions of True Christians.
Historians estimate that during the Dark Ages (538 AD - 1798 AD), the Roman Catholic Church killed over 50 million people whom they deemed as heretics, most of which were Christians who dared to own a Bible (which the Catholic Church forbid) or proclaimed the Gospel of Jesus.

Daniel 7:25 - ...And shall intend to change times and law...
Daniel 2:21 - And He (God) changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise And knowledge to those who have understanding.

In 1798 A.D, Napoleon's army marched into Rome and arrested Pope Pius VI, ending the reign of the Papacy.
The Papacy matches ALL the Identifying Characteristics of the little horn of Daniel 7.
We could find that the Papacy matches the Antichrist descriptions in 2 Thes 2 & Rev 13, 17 & 18.
